What is the best lure to use in spring for largemouth bass?

I've tried to use the minnow rap and the x-rap, but havn't been the most sucessful person on the planet. I live in minnesota if that helps at all. I just caught a 7lb. largemouth yesterday on the x-rap, should i stay with that?
