What are some good lures to catch Largemouth Bass at a pond?

well i want to know what lures are the best to catch Largemouth Bass i haven't caught one in like a year or so and i really want the information and also when is the best time (noon, morning, or late afternoon) to catch them and what should i use to catch it..I almost forgot where do they often appear...should i cast it in the deep shallow or midway..
Also i spinner lures(the ones with the shiny thingy) will lhose help
