What south florida fishing pier is best for this time of year?

I know that different piers are better during certain times of the year because its just where the fish go. anyone have any idea where the fish like to go during christmas?

anywhere near hollywood, fort lauderdale, miami, etc.

1. I always see alot of people fishing off the rickenbacker causeway so it's probably good.. Dania pier is good.. kingfish, bluefish, spanish mackerel.. Some people have been catching pompano, and sheephead too, they are migrating now so you might get some luck.. Check out this forum for more info: http://www.boatlessfishing.com/

3. Generally??

Anything around Sebastian Inlet is usually good, (Winter and Summer).

The bridges headed down to the Keys are good.

Flagler Beach Pier is one of the better piers in Fl- esp this time of year.

To be honest, Piers are a "hit or miss" opportunity in Florida. Unless you are a local and KNOW the pier, most times you never hit it at the time you should. (Which makes your fishing trip boring- at best.)

I suggest you try a local Inlet or creeks in or around the ICW. Realize- this is the best time of the year to target Flounder in Inlets. Check this article out- http://www.floridasportsman.com/2008/11/01/fort_clinch_flounder_fishing/

In varying degrees Flounder should be in and around a lot of Inlets. And, of course, don't forget the Trout...........

Hope this helps?
