What rapala will work the best for largemouth bass?
I have a cottage on a lake in otario canada. The lake is freshwater and it is stocked with tons of largemouth bass! I was just wondering what rapala lure would work the best. The lake is also pretty shallow, its only about 4 feet deep.
My mistake. The lake is over 100 feet deep, its just that the spot where I am fishing is only about 4 feet deep.

1. If your Ontario, Canada lake really IS only 4 feet deep, your bass are doomed. The winter ice can easily be that thick and no fish will survive in those impossible conditions. There must be some far deeper holes in the lake for them to congregate in during the coldest months of winter. Also, I am surprised that you say the lake is stocked with tons of "largemouth bass" as normally the lakes that far North are naturally abundant with smallmouth bass.
As for the Rapala I would recommend, use any of the natural color offerings and use the jointed or "broken back" Rapala's. The extra wiggle and swimming action really seems to get their attention. I know bass fisherman in Georgia who even prefer that choice in their home waters over some of the MANY other choices available.
2. Try to match the type of bait fish in the lake. Perch or shad, etc.
For smallmouths try a crawfish color.
