2. The International Game Fish Association All Tackle World Record for largemouth bass is currently tied between two fish, George W. Perry's 22 pound, 4 ounce that was caught June 2nd, 1932 from an oxbow lake off the Ocmulgee River called Montgomery Lake and Manabu Kurita's 22 pound, 5 ounce fish from Lake Biwa in Japan on July 2nd, 2009.
There was however, a foul hooked 25 pound, 1 ounce caught from California's Lake Dixon in San Diego County by Jed Dickerson in 2006.
World Record channel cat is 58 pounds.
World Record bluegill is 5 pounds, 7 ounces.
World Record smallmouth bass is 11 pounds, 15 ounces caught July 8th, 1955 from Dale Hollow Lake in Kentucky by David Hays.
EDIT:
Foul hooked is a nicer word for "snagged".
