Are senior citizens required to buy a fishing licence when fishing in Florida?

I live in California and I am planning to go to Florida for a week or so. Being in there, I would like to go fishing, but I would like to know if a fishing licence is required for an ot-of-the state senior citizen.

1. http://myfwc.com/License/LicPermit_RecreationalHF.htm#exempt

reading through that says u have to be 65+ and a FL RESIDENT to be exempt from fishing license....unless u are on a chartered boat.......

also u don't need a license if its on a private pond...

so u WILL need a non-resident license most likely....

EDIT: @ sonny H ...i gave the link that CLEARLY states resident's ONLY are exempt.....

2. any one over 65 does not have to have a license in florida, all they have to do is show there id card, not sure about out of States visiting, but guessing they would be included also-i hope,
