Is now a good time for deep sea fishing in Florida?

My aunt lives in West Palm Beach. I'm thinking about driving down and going on a charter boat for some big fish. I hear that area is great for sail fish but is now a good time to catch them? If I went within the next couple weeks what would be the target fish down there?
