1. Aqueduct 1:00
2. any rod or reel should be ok as long as it works and i would recomend 12 pound test this time of year spinner baits with a colorado blade(the wider blades) that are fished real slow and jerkbaits with a long pause with each jerk
3. If ur fishing in florida, kill mickey mouse and hang his balls on the hook.
4. hey man, i have fished in florida and i know that the coverage can get pretty thick so i would recomend using a medium action rod 6'6" to 7" rod a spinning reel or a bait casting reel with about 14-20 lb flourocarbon or braided line which ever you might prefer. those types of line are very tough and you can rip it out of the coverage with ease. one lure that i have had luck with down there is the sunshine state is the football head jig with a crawfish trailer. using this jig and these types of line allows you to get into the coverage that you are getting stuck in (where the big bass are) and the line will rip right through the coverage and when you get a strike the medium action rod allows a good hook set and the line will cut its way out of the mess. there are other good lures that you can use like the hollow frog that you can pitch on top of lillys and such and get the bass's attention and for the most part is weedless. man i hope this helps you out a bit good luck good fishing be safe and remember to share the experience

man there are different brands out there, these were the first pics that i saw. i would really recomend the hollow frog though. that brand it the one that i use the most and i have had strike after strike with this golden oldey lure. have fun
5. No best lure but 2 very good ones in heavy weeds the spinner and the jig n pig. With the spinning lures I would go with med- med/hvy casting rod spooled with 12 to 17 lb mono. With the jig n pig I use a heavy braid 30 to 60 lb hvy action casting rod.
There are many good lures fished right and you wont get hooked up to bad with weeds like top water, worming, soft plastic jerk baits....!Sometimes I like to hook up in a weed or pads and wiggle the lure free this sometimes draws a bass.If the bass doesnt take the lure I toss back a lizard or craw...in the pocket andmost times he will take the toss back lure.
6. Whenever i go down to fish florida i always throw topwater weedless frogs. i love these. the bite is so agressive and i love the excitement
7. i like to use top water baits when the weeds start to get thick. For example a buzz bait or spinner bait. Also i use a weightless lizard or i use a frog/toad imitation
