Scuba, Snorkeling, Fishing trip in Florida?

I'm planning a trip for Boy Scouts involving going to Florida, either renting a boat or going with experienced people for a week and snorkeling, scuba diving, and fishing. I am looking for a sailboat preferibly that is big enough to sleep in, and has 10 spots. I'd like the price to be low. Any ideas where to find this? I've been searching a lot.
Or any ideas on how to have a sea trip.

1. I can only tell you that from taking my boys to Florida Keys
that I found them off of the Keys website
and thee were charters but never found anything to sleep in
Don't know where in Fla you are going but check their Chamber of Commerce
Most charters like to be in by dark and usually don't overnight
with the exception of a few night charters
especially with children
Again don't know age groups either
that would make a difference

2. I think a sailing boat that sleeps that many is a pretty big boat. You would need to prove seamanship ability and creditworthiness and other responsibilities to be able to "bare-boat" charter. I do not think 10 Scouts would be able to prove that to a yacht owner.

Have you looked into the BSA's High Adventure Florida Sea Base?

73800 Overseas Hwy., Lower Matecumbe Key, P.O. Box 1906, Islamorada, FL 33036

3. Try Blackbeard's Cruises, they run out of Freeport. Sailboats set up for liveaboard scuba.

$899/person for one week, includes food, dives, air... And they travel all over the Bahamas.

You'll need passports. Not IN fla but is the only one I'm aware of that has sailboat liveaboards for scuba.
