Salwater fishing with 30LB test with Abu Garcia Cardinal 104i? I'm taking a trip to florida, and I'm doing a day of saltwater kayak fishing. Were fishing for snook, tarpon, and redfish. I was told by the guide to have a bite tippet of 30lb floro. Can i use my freshwater reel for this? If not, what would you recommend thats under 100 bucks? the gear ratio is 5:1:1, the spool capacity (braided) is 14 lbs (210 yds), and max drag is 14 lbs.
