what are some of the best fishing lures for bass fishing in the midwest? i fish off my dock in 3 to 5 ft of water and i only can catch bass durring the evening all i have luck with is a small rubber shad a 7 in texas rigged worm and sometimes a buzzbait i also have alot of weeds but there are many open spots where i can cast and return it without getting snaged what are some good lures for the bass around there

What are the best fishing lures for bass in extremely weedy waters? I fish in lakes Maspenock, and Whitehall in Hopkinton Ma and both have a ton of weeds through out. I use plastic worms like senkos, spinnerbaits and frogs and do catch a decent amount of fish, but I feel like the fish have all seen these same lures so many times that Im missing out on the bigger fish. What lures would you guys recommend to fish in these weedy waters? Thanks

My best way to catch trout which almost never fails is to use yellow Powerbait. My best bass lure is a five inch plastic worm with curly tail a size 1/0 offset wide gap hook. I also heard a spinner called the "Midnight Special" is an amazing lure to fish at night for bass. A live worm and a hook will catch just about any freshwater fish. Those are my surefire ways to catch fish. I do just about every type of fishing, so any kind of lures or tips will work. I am very experienced, and don't need any beginner tips. I gave you my tricks, now what are yours?

Florida Bass fishing..what lures are best for this? Time of year. we are now post spawn i think and the bite has gone away. I know this B/C i just bought the smart caster (RF25) by Humminbird so i now know where the fish are. I highly recomend bying this item for the shore angler there is nothing better and so much fun. Is there a magazine out there that covers Florida? i do get bassmaster but it seems that it covers the rest of the upper states and as much as i like it i would like to find a magazine that covers only florida/texas as we dont see much of a change in the weather. also is there a teaching video for children somewhere? my nieces and nephews are 6-12 and i have given them the fishing bug but thier dad is no old man in the sea so i would like to show them VIA an instructional video how to fish for the big BASS..
