will i catch any hudson river striped bass now? Im starting to fish the hudson river a little early but do you think i have a chance at catching stripers? It doesnt matter what size, i just love fishing stripers. I will be shore fishing around haverstraw bay and tappan zee area with bloodworms. I understand that im fishing out of season but i will be releasing the fish as i catch them.

Where can i catch Stripe Bass around Fishkill ny? I recently moved to fishkill ny and hear theirs great striped Bass fishing in the Hudson river. I dont have a boat so I need to fish from shore. Can someone tell me of a legal spot to fish at night from shore on the hudson river for Stripers. My son and I spent a few hours driving around tonight only to find that alot of spots close at dusk. A spot with in twenty miles of Fishkill would be great thank you in anvance for any input
