bass fishing? I am newcomer to the bass fishing scene and i would like to know some good lures weather it be crank/spinner/jig anything. What have you caught a big bass on?

Bass fishing? When Bass fishing does it really matter the size of your line? Weather it be in the river or in a big lake? I have been Bass fishing for about 20 years now and I already know the answer to this. I just want to know your opinion.

Bass Fishing???????????? I'm going to go to my grandmas house in a few days. She lives on the Black River in New York .She doesn't have a boat or anything so i plan on fishing from shore. Black river is known for there pike and bass. Its still cold out and i was wondering what bait or lures to use to catch bass or pike from shore. Normally i use just worms and catch sunfish and little bass. So what are some lures or rigs to catch bass or pike in the black river in this cold weather up in New York from shore?

What is a good time to start the bass fishing season? I want to start bass fishing this year, but I'm not sure what's the best time to start. When I started last year, my results wre varied form trip to trip. Some days were really good, others were like fishing in the dead of winter. I just want to start at the right time. A good time would also include a time where I won't be cold, I cannot stand even the slightest cold.

What are good bass fishing lakes in Wisconsin? I'm trying to search out the best bass(preferably Largemouth) fishing lakes in Manitowoc County and the counties surrounding it. What are ONE good reason you should start bass fishing, and one good reason why you should not? Why you should start. It's one of the most fun, and enjoyable activities that i can think of. You have a chance of fishing for the most prized gamefish in America. Why you shouldn't. SOME bass anglers have cocky attitudes, which will make you wanna pull your hair out. And the pulse of wanting to have the best boat, lures, and reels will make a hole in your wallet. Come on, speak your mind. Damn, Tarheel i should have thought of that one.

What would you suggest for Bass fishing a new Pond? I haven't been Bass fishing in quite a while. The weather has been bad so my offshore fishing has been limited. I was told of a lake that has Bass in it. Plastic Worms seem to be the weapon of Choice, but they are only landing smaller ones. The water is warm and the pond isn't all that big. I was thinking about just going for the gusto and hanging a live shiner under a Bobber. Think that will do the trick or would you go for the Artificial approach?

How do I retrieve tube and brush hog in bass fishing? Ok so I now have all my gear to go bass fishing and im using some soft plastic tubes and brush hogs mainly using a carolina rig. I will be fishing in lakes for small mouth and large mouth. Where is Best Bass fishing in the Southern US? I am trying to plan a 3-4 day fishing trip for about 10-20 guys and I need to know where the best Bass fishing locations are. What's the best bass fishing reel that money can buy? Either baitcaster or closedface(like zebco33) for bass fishing would be fine. Going on a 6foot G-Loomis GL3 CR723. Suggestions for good Southern Bass fishing lakes in the Spring? From Northern Illinois, we usually go to Arkansas but are going to change it up this spring. We mostly fish for Largemouth Bass and Stripers. Usually go in April or the first week of May at the latest. Kinda want to keep it within 15 hours or so drive time.
